Make macaroni and cheese, have happy and contented babies eating away... growing big and strong!
Add broccoli, and the the entire meal is rejected and the babies act like they aren't hungry (which we all know is a blatant lie) and the mother feels like she's starving her poor little girls.
Broccoli sucks.
Ever since I started calling them 'trees' the girls will eat them...its a phenomenon. That and adding lowfat ranch to everything.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. When I make chicken broccoli casserole, I have to pick out the green stuff in Jayce's bowl before he spots it -- otherwise, he'll refuse. Silly!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny! Aren't kids weird? We have these veggie straws (they're like potato chips, but straw shaped, and made from potatoes, tomatoes or spinach, sound weird but taste good), and Jackson will eat the potato and tomato ones, but not spinach because its green. They all taste the same by the way. Weirdo.
ReplyDeleteOn a good day or at Chili's, it can be so successful! I promise!
ReplyDeleteHey Ashley! Yeah! We can be blogging buddies! Your girls are so adorable and I give mad props to you for running around after two of them! Hope all is going well! As for the broccoli you should try blending it to a puree (sp?) then mixing it in! It might work....hey maybe I should try that! :0) haha
