Perhaps I'm the only person on this planet who thinks this way, but the bib-necklace trend? I don't get it. It seems like a total affront to all things chic, fashionable, and grown up! It has the word "bib" in there, for heavensake! My kids wear bibs. I do not.
There are, quite honestly, too many bibs in my life! I'm constantly folding drool/spitup catching bibs for Little Man, washing big girl bibs for the girls. (and their messy eating habits) I would like to have fewer bibs in my house, thankyouverymuch.
SEE?!
That is not fashion forward. Anyone who says differently- clearly has never had to deal with small children. And thus, are stark raving lunatics.
And! On a more practical note! Those huge beaded things look heavy! I'm pretty sure I would become a hunchback from wearing them! I've already got a 50lb. diaperbag. I've got enough weight to schelp around- I should just hire a Columbian mule team.
All of you hipsters wearing bib necklaces: you want bibs so badly? Come over to my house and do a load of laundry, I will make sure it features the ever-popular flake cereal caked bib. Then you will understand, walk out of my house, tail between your legs, get on your fashion network (probably involving an iphone) and reverse the trend. There's nothing sexy about a bib. Nothing.
Cute? Yes. Fashion? No.
Although kids without bibs? That's just scary.
(that's why they're outside- wink)
Haha! I call it the built in necklace- no need for jewlry- you've got in on your shirt!!!
