Small Appearances

I opened up all the windows this morning. It was absolutely gorgeous outside, just a hair below crisp. There was the slightest hint of fall in the air. (the weatherman says all this loveliness will vanish soon enough) I threw open the drapes, and whipped the shutters open- then coughed a lot because of all the dust.
The weather was heaven, pure heaven, and that meant it was the perfect time to hit the park for the first time in a long, long time. We drove there in the car, a/c off, windows down. Loving every single minute of the outdoor air.

Fall? When will you stop teasing me with these little morsels of cool weather? Just come over and stay for good! (you could live in my guest room!)
