Rainbows on the Floor

If you are looking for extravagant Thanksgiving planning and preparation, elaborate menus, pretty pretty place cards, then you, my friend, have come to the wrong place. I've never been a huge fan of Thanksgiving. Stuffing yourself silly in "thanks" for your bounty seems ridiculous. Plus I think turkey is gross.

I've been busy planning for the main event: Christmas. And maintaining the status quo. Half day Kindergarten makes for a lot of running around.

There are always little breaks in the chaos (and mealtime drama) to share in the magic of prisms. We have a little star prism in our window, and at just the right time of day it leaves little rainbows scattered on the floor. The joy and wonder is delicious.
